Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are a set of rules, and most commonly a file format, which contain the styling elements of a web page. Additionally, and more colloquially, CSS simply refers to the styling of a page.

As mentioned above, CSS is often a separate file, but can occasionally be included inline within other HTML elements:

A blue, and indented paragraph.
